I had a large amount in bank accounts and didn't feel that the returns I got were very good. The bank staff were very helpful, but could only offer their own products.

Ross advised investing in products that gave better returns than bank accounts, but were still in an area of risk that I found acceptable. In addition, he gave advice on managing the funds I already had in a private pension.

I can't think of any ways the service we receive could be bettered since outcomes have been what we hoped for, at times better and during the financial crisis not as difficult as we had feared.Risk was always a major element of annual reviews.

My late husband and I probably first looked for a financial adviser after I inherited an estate from a family member in 1988. Then we were advised within a City investment bank. We met Ross some years later when he was working for another company and he advised us for a number of years. Some years later when he formed his own company we were pleased to have him advise us again. My husband died in 2014 and I have been very grateful for his expertise ever since.
